By using Isagenix during the Thanksgiving holidays, I was able to see how disordered and out-of-balance my eating is. Because the Isa-meals are simple, healthy and filling, their use shines a light on the part of eating I do that is not necessary, but I do anyway. (And it doesn't take much of that type of eating to add body fat of which I've gained and lost my share. One way I look at my body fat is that it is a reflection of the degree to which my life is out-of-balance.)
The point is, however, that using Isagenix shakes, bars and other supplements has helped me isolate healthy eating, from the eating I do that is not healthy and somewhat compulsive. Truthfully, I do a lot of eating that is not necessary for sustaining life; basically, I spend a lot of time living-to-eat.
Because of its nutrition and completeness, the Isagenix becomes the food, and the food becomes the supplement. This, then makes it easy for me to see how much of these 'food' 'supplements' (ice cream, cashews, peanut butter, crackers, extra helpings of anything) that I eat but don't, in fact, need. And, by seeing that, I was able to get clarity on the degree that I'm out-of-balance with my eating. By seeing that, it was much easier to get back on track with the food program, Isagenix, I have chosen to follow.
