Hello! I am a clinical social worker and graduated from UT Arlington with my MSW in 2004. I have worked in social services for over twenty years and as a therapist for approximately ten years. I believe each person has a unique story, shaped by experiences that influence how we see ourselves and the world around us. Sometimes, these experiences can create perceptions that feel out of sync with who we truly are. My approach is grounded in the belief that you are your own best healer, and my role is simply to guide and support you on your journey of self-discovery and healing.
I specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a proven technique that helps clients heal from past trauma, manage stress, and foster a balanced connection between mind and body. This gentle approach allows you to process challenging experiences in a safe, supportive environment.
I am also experienced with other EMDR techniques and protocols including advanced training in Flash Technique.
Areas of interest are childhood trauma, trauma and PTSD, chronic pain, anxiety and depression, performance anxiety and stress management
