I am a bilingual mental health therapist, proficiently speaking both English and Spanish languages. I received my Master of Science in 2016 at John Brown University, completing the Dual Track program in Marriage and Family Therapy and Community Counseling. I have been working in the mental health field since 2013, and am experienced in treating a variety of mental health and behavioral concerns. I have completed advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) by ICEEFT, am an Advanced Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist by the Trauma Institute International, and am also a Certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist by the EMDR International Association.
I am passionate about meeting clients where they are in life, providing them with support, guiding them through their process, giving them the tools for success, and strengthening the support systems in their lives in order to help them meet their therapeutic goals and objectives, as well as helping them bring out the best version of themselves.
I encourage clients to explore and process emotions, thoughts, and experiences, considering social/cultural differences, and implement appropriate approaches in order to alleviate/resolve distress.
