Kirsti Reese earned her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Sam Houston State University and her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). She has specialized training as a Certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (TF-CBT), Registered Play Therapist (RPT), and is an EMDR-trained therapist. She works with adults and children on many different issues, frequently including trauma and chronic stress.
Kirsti Reese has extensive experience working with adults and children/adolescents in a variety of setting. Kirsti has spent the last couple years working in a private practice setting with a variety of individuals and families. She has experience working in university counseling centers with many diverse clients from diverse backgrounds. She also has experience at Child Advocacy Centers counseling children, adolescents, and caregivers who have experienced various forms of trauma and abuse.
