My goal, when working with clients, is to provide a nurturing environment in which clients feel heard, supported, and encouraged to discover ways they can embrace serenity in their lives. I have seen remarkable transformation occur in the lives of clients through the therapeutic process and know there is hope through this journey.
Having grown up in a family with parents who struggled with addictions and went through multiple divorces, I have personally experienced the power of healing that is possible by using the same tools I encourage my clients use.
Lisa graduated from Brigham Young University in Family Science and later attended Arizona State University to earn a Master Degree in Social Work.
Lisa has experience working with individuals with addictions and advocates connection as an essential piece to healing. She also has been trained in various treatment modalities to successfully assist individuals whose lives have been impacted by trauma, anxiety, and depression
Other experience includes working with individuals and families who experienced the significant death of a loved one. While working with grief can be difficult for many therapists, Lisa connects with her clients in their grieving process to help them find peace and hope after such loss.
When I have free time I love going on long walks outdoors, doing home improvement and decorating projects, and watching high school and college football in the fall.
