Welcome! My name is Madison Carr, and I am a licensed clinical social worker with a Masters of Social Work from Valdosta State University and a Bachelors of Social Work from the University of Georgia. I enjoy working with young adults, teenagers, couples, families, and survivors of abuse and trauma. My main focus of my practice is to provide clients with a safe space to talk about struggles without the fear of being judged and to help them work through the struggles that prevent them from experiencing the joy that life has to offer. I believe individualized therapy treatments for my clients empower them to learn how to restore this joy. This can include anything from talk therapy, animal-assisted therapy with my therapy-trained dog, Turbo, and most recently, EMDR, which has produced incredible, inspiring results. I can also offer unique counseling for anyone who may be seeking a Christian perspective, and with this comes the belief that no situation is too hopeless, and healing can be found even in the darkest of circumstances. I believe in helping my clients feel comfortable and connected, and I strive to help them leave my office feeling hopeful about the future. Sessions can be offered in-person in my lovely downtown Savannah office or virtually for those wanting to seek treatment from the comfort of their own space. EMDR sessions can also be provided virtually or in-person. Please contact 912-355-3881 to set up an appointment or visit www.georgiaoutreach.com.
