Olivia Van Ness is a nationally-certified rehabilitation counselor (CRC) and is licensed in Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
Olivia graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas State University and went on to receive a Master’s in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling (MCRC) from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. During her time there, she performed extensive research on treatment considerations for insomnia and chronic pain, as well as coauthored research on opioid use. Olivia has specialty experience in pain management in multiple roles and settings, as well as treatment of individuals with co-morbid medical issues, substance use disorders, and mood disorders.
Olivia has a passion for counseling individuals experiencing transitional difficulties, whether physical, physiological, mental, or situational. She is a nationally-certified rehabilitation counselor (CRC) and is licensed in Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She enjoys collaborating with clients to help work towards their goals and prefers to use an eclectic approach of therapeutic techniques in order to best meet the needs of the client.
