Tatiana has been working in the field of education and mental health since 2011 and has cultivated a passion for working in diverse and multicultural settings. She has completed her undergraduate studies in International Relations at the University of North Texas and graduated with a Master’s of Science Degree in Counseling from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
Over the years, she has focused on the connection between mind-body and spirit by incorporating eastern spiritual practices with western psychology principles. She has completed her 500hr registered yoga teacher training with the Indra Yoga Institute and 200hr registration with the Texas Yoga Institute. She has continued to add to the depth of mind body practices by studying Yoga Nidra with the Amrit Yoga Institute with Kamini Desai, PhD.
Additionally, Tatiana is engaged in combining her experience with DBT [Dialectical Behavior Therapy] and EMDR [Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing] to better help individuals that have experienced trauma, loss, and attachment disorders through the lifespan.
In her current role, Tatiana serves as the Evening Intensive Outpatient Coordinator and Adolescent DBT Skills Group. She primarily works in individual and group settings and focuses on delivering quality experiential self-management skills. She is passionate about providing a holistic treatment experience that includes family and couples counseling for individuals at the Ethos Prism Center.
