I’m a Marine Corps Combat Veteran. My experience started in 2006, while serving in the military, I was assigned as the Battalion Uniformed Victim Advocate (UVA) for sexual assault victims and the Suicide Intervention & Prevention Instructor Trainer. At times, I had to do on-site victim response and suicide negotiations. This lead me into a career as a Social worker.
I am a Doctor of Behavioral Health and licensed Social Worker. I work with the Department of Veteran Affairs, McAllen Vet Center.
