From Mindfulness to Oneness
A retreat for Connection & Co-regulation through Yoga,
Purpose: This is a retreat for all helping professionals to experience connection and co-regulation through yoga, awareness, self-inquiry, and self-care for self-repair. This retreat offers practices & experiences to develop skills to enhance the ability to connect and co-regulate with yourself and others. Learn practices that are effective for you to return to your window of tolerance, recharge, and connect on a deeper level with self, life, and others. Current neuroscience research will be discussed on mindfulness, yoga, polyvagal theory indicates unique possibilities for co regulation & enhanced connection.

Dates: Summer, 2023 – (June 11 – 16, 2023)
The retreat begins on Sunday, June 11th, with arrivals beginning at 3:00 pm, dinner is 5:30 – 6:30 pm and the first meeting is from 7:00 until 8:30 pm.
Yoga and Mindfulness Retreat Presenters
Intended Audience: This retreat is for all Mental Health Professionals, Allied Medical Professionals, Yoga Teachers and Yoga Students. People interested in Yoga and Meditation, all levels welcome.
Non-workshop attending partners: Partners of registered workshop attendees are encouraged to attend the retreat, as well. They will be welcome to join in the meals, meditations and on all extra curricular group activities.
Days and Times: This is a week long workshop with arrival time beginning at 3:00 pm (dinner is 5:30 to 6:30) on Sunday, June 11, 2023, and ending on Friday, June 16th, after lunch at 1:00 pm. See the full schedule below.
Location: Ghost Ranch Retreat and Education Center near Abiquiu, NM. (Nearest airports Albuquerque and Sante Fe.)
Tuition & Payment Information:
Early Bird Discount Rate for tuition of $895.00 is good through May 01, 2023, after which the tuition is $995.00.
Room and Board: Once you have registered, we will contact you to arrange your room assignment and meal(s), upon which you will be invoiced accordingly.
We have two types of rooms. There are cottages with two double occupancy rooms and a semi-private bath and there are double occupancy rooms with a private bath.
Room cost – Cottages with double occupancy and semi-private bath: $700 – for five nights.
Room cost – Mesa level lodging, double occupancy with private bath: $775 – for five nights
The cost listed here is per room, so a couple reserving a room would have the same cost as an individual.
If you’re attending as an individual but want a roommate to the split room expense, let us know and we’ll try to arrange that. If, however, a roommate doesn’t appear then you will be responsible for the individual room cost.

Please note: There may also be rooms at the Abiquiu Inn, which is about 11 miles from Ghost Ranch. Booking at the Abiquiu Inn means that you will need to rent a car for travel to and from Ghost Ranch.
Travel Information and Covid-19 Policy
Travel Information: (map) Attendees can fly into Albuquerque International Airport (ABQ) or the Sante Fe Regional Airport. Sante Fe is closer to the ranch but, flights may be more expensive with fewer options.
Shuttle – We have a shuttle available that you can sign up for when you register. The cost for the shuttle is $95.00 round trip. The shuttle will leave ABQ at 1:00 pm on Sunday, June 11, 2023, to go to the ranch; the return shuttle will leave the ranch at 12:30 pm on Jun 16th and is scheduled to arrive at ABQ by 4:00 pm. Therefore, to give yourself enough time, return flights should be scheduled to leave no earlier that 5 pm. (Sometimes, the best option is to spend the night in Sante Fe or Albuquerque and take a flight out the next morning. The shuttle will drop you at a motel if that is what you choose to do.)

|Jordan||Meditation and Non-dual Teachings
During the retreat, we'll introduce the teachings on 'Mindfulness' and 'Oneness', and explain the difference between them. We'll do meditations that move from Mindfulness to going beyond the mind, to Oneness or Non-dual wisdom. The connection between Yoga, Mindfulness and Oneness and how to integrate them into your meditation/yoga practice will be broached, as well.
|Arrival||3:00 - 7:00 pm on Sunday||Event Days and Times: Attendees will arrive on Sunday afternoon and evening in time for dinner (5:30 – 6:30) and for the Sunday evening meeting at 7:00 pm, which will be a welcoming-orientation and meditation. Shuttle pickup at ABQ is 1:00 pm.|
|Morning Meditation||7:00 am - 7:30 - Daily||This meditation session is optional for those who wish to attend.|
|The Teachings||9:00 am to 12:00 pm - MTTh & Friday morning||Yoga, teaching, meditation & discussion led by Tricia and Mark. This will be practicing both Yoga & meditation and ways to practice self-care.|
|Lunch||12:00 to 1:30 - Daily||Lunch with time for writing, walking and meditation.|
|The Teachings||1:30 to 2:45 - MT&Th||Jordan on Mindfulness, Oneness and Non-duality with lecture, group sharing and meditation.|

|Ghost Ranch||Evenings||Evenings after dinner, and Wednesday will be an open for participants to spend time doing activities that are available on the ranch. These activities include horseback riding, hiking, swimming, or just relaxing.|
|Ghost Ranch||Wednesday||Silent Hike and Yoga Meditation - This is optional for anyone who wants to join us.|
|Ojo Sante Fe||Wednesday||Optional day trip to Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort and Spa (Spa attendance charge is not included in the tuition and is paid by the attendee at the spa). Shuttle transportation to the spa will be provided on a first come, first served basis.|
|Gong meditation||7:30 - 8:30 pm - MT&W||Yoga, gongs and mindfulness meditation with Tricia and Mark|
|Sunrise Yoga||Sunrise - Thursday Morning Only||Yoga - Tricia and Mark|
|Summer Camp Talent Show||Thursday evening, 7:30 to 9:00||This is a time to share your own interests and talents, to include poetry, readings, and singing.|
|Departure||12:30 pm - Friday||The retreat ends on Friday after lunch. For those taking the shuttle, you can leave your suitcase outside you cabin door, so it'll be ready for shuttle pickup at 12:15 or 12:30.|
Cancellation Policy: Cancellation/Refund: Your payments, including tuition and travel is refundable less a processing fee of $75.00 up to 10 days prior to the workshop date. Nine days prior or less, no is refund is given.
All grievances must be in writing to Jordan Shafer, and will be replied to within 5 – 10 business days. This workshop is held in facilities which are in compliance with the Americans Disabilities Act. Please contact Jordan Shafer if special accommodation is required.
