Purpose:

This is a retreat for all helping professionals to experience connection and co-regulation with one another through yoga, awareness, self-inquiry, and much needed self-care for self-repair. You will also learn about non-duality and experience the exquisite “one-ness” of it all.

All levels of experience with yoga and meditation are welcome! Modifications and choices will be present in various styles of trauma-informed yoga geared towards increasing connection to the wisdom of the body (interoception) and the quieting of the mind. Learn yoga and breath practices to return to your window of tolerance, recharge, and connect on a deeper level with self, life, and others. Practice savoring the art of stillness, a requisite for going inwards to find the gold within.

Each day begins with a morning yoga & meditation to set the tone of the day. Classes are led by your hosts and yoga teachers Tricia & Mark. Each day is punctuated with a sunset sound journey to relax into the evening. In between, there will be opportunities for group and individual hikes, ample time in nature, and exploring the grounds and trails around Ghost Ranch’s spectacular surrounding mesas and national forests. Enjoy the outdoors, connecting with nature, reflecting and journaling.

Even before you leave, you’ll feel refreshed, renewed, and re-energized! Take home the knowledge and novel skill sets to create enhanced connection with your Self, your purpose, and your clients. By the end, you will have the experience to integrate these powerful practices in your daily life to create more balance and capacity for your purpose and passions.

Yoga & Mindfulness

Intentions for this Retreat

During the retreat you will get to experience connection through Mindfulness, Yoga & Awareness
and leave the retreat with new tools that will allow you to:

* Experience Mindfulness as part of your daily life and create a mindful meditation practice
* Yoga as a “work-in”, rather than a “work-out”
* Experience yogic practices to heal the nervous system
* Begin to understand the path of non duality
* Create a deeper connection to the authentic you
* Experience reality as it is-not through our lens of perception
* Begin to understand the nature of the mind and the body and use them as tools in your life to create a deeper clarity
* Connect to the power of sound and vibration as a way of achieving a deep meditative state
Yoga, Meditation and Sound Journey

Experience sound as a guide to meditation throughout the retreat. In the evenings join us for a  powerful Sound Journey & Meditation with 4 unique gongs, Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls, and chimes. This will be a sacred space created to deepen your meditation practice, release burdens and connect with the deeper intentions of your soul. On Wednesday, we will have a cacao ceremony beforehand to super charge our heart, so it guides the way bringing expanded awareness, recognition of blocks, limiting beliefs, and renewed connection to our purpose.

These sound journey’s are like a luxurious “bubble bath” for your nervous system. At the very least you will typically feel relaxed and renewed afterwards. The gongs entrain the brain into the insightful and relaxing delta and theta brain waves. This leads to whole brain coherence. They are skillfully led by your hosts, Gong Masters Mark LoPalo & Tricia Gagnon. Check them out on IG @inwardandupward_coaching @tricia_yogitherapist

Jordan Meditation and Non-dual Teachings

During the retreat, we'll introduce the teachings on 'Mindfulness' and 'Oneness', and explain the difference between them. We'll do meditations that move from Mindfulness to going beyond the mind, to Oneness or Non-dual wisdom. The connection between Yoga, Mindfulness and Oneness and how to integrate them into your meditation/yoga practice will be broached, as well.
