Beginning her academic journey, Lisa Wooldridge, earned an Associates of Science from North Harris Montgomery College. She furthered her education by obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Liberty University. Completing her advanced studies, she secured a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Her approach centers on embracing clients in their present circumstances without judgment, offering empathy, and understanding.
Specialized Training:
Professionally trained in EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Lisa brings an array of techniques for treating PTSD and Chronic Trauma to her practice. Her therapeutic methods encompass DBT (Dialectic Behavior Therapy, Client Center, and Emotional Focused Therapy, along with mindfulness practices, grief counseling, family systems approach, crisis intervention, and comprehensive trauma treatment. While versed in many therapies she believes EMDR is the number one go to for Trauma, singular incident or chronic.
