Laura Taff is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has been in private practice since 2011. Laura received a Bachelors in Social Work (BSW) from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and a MA in Family Psychology from Hardin-Simmons University. She worked for Betty Hardwick Center with children and families of children 0-3 years old with developmental disorders and disabilities. Laura sees children, ages 2 to 18 years, adults and families. She is currently working toward her Registered Play Therapist credentials and recently trained in EMDR. Laura is a mother of three and enjoys helping parents with tools for discipline. She has experience treating Autism Spectrum disorders, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Laura believes creative expressions through play or art can help children and adults visualize and overcome what is keeping them from making progress.
