I’m a Marine Corps Combat Veteran. My experience started in 2006, while serving in the military, I was assigned as the Battalion Uniformed Victim Advocate (UVA) for sexual assault victims and the Suicide Intervention & Prevention Instructor Trainer. At times, I had to do on-site victim response and suicide negotiations. This lead me into a career as a Social worker.
I am a Doctor of Behavioral Health and licensed Social Worker. I obtained my Doctorate from Arizona State University and my Masters of Social Work degree from University of Southern California and my Bachelors in Psychology from California State University San Marcos.
Worked at the Department of Veteran Affairs as a psychotherapist for 7 years and currently working with the Department of Homeland Security and Totum Health as a Behavioral Health Consultant
