I am a compassionate therapist committed to guiding women of color through the challenges rooted in cultural values, family conflicts, anxiety, depression, exploring intersectionality, and intergenerational trauma. As a South Asian American, I bring a culturally sensitive approach that fosters a connection with my clients. As a therapist, I utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to support individuals in processing and overcoming the impact of traumatic experiences. EMDR involves a structured approach, helping clients identify and reframe/reprocess negative beliefs and emotions associated with past traumas. I also utilize other evidence-based interventions like Humanistic Person-Centered approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Strengths Based approach.
I will be someone who listens, assists you to identify your goals, and empowers you along the therapeutic process. I will provide you with a non-judgmental, confidential safe space for you to express all you wish to share. I truly believe that it takes an immense amount of strength to reach out for help and I applaud your effort. You took the first step and now we can take the next steps together. Let’s start your journey of healing today.
